Lucas Fitzpatrick: I rarely described myself as a writer. I've never referred to myself as one. I would prefer designer or musician. I feel safer using these words. But whether I am designing, playing music, or writing, I like to think of myself as a creative problem solver. I enjoy finding even regular or usual problems and developing good, sound solutions. I'm always hoping for unique and new solutions, but foremost, it must always be good. My actual writing can often be ugly, incoherent, confusing, and slow in development- on a good day. I've found writing is one of the practices in my life that lacks a strong amount of talent. Yet, I make up for it with patience, passion, and determination to learn.
